She travelled 7000 miles to marry a man she’d just met… View this email in your browser New song Astronaut has launched!
I’m very excited to announce that the third song in my Somebody’s Story series is out in the world! I’ve shared the track and the extraordinary story that inspired it as a series of tweets and photos that you can read here (you don’t need to be on Twitter to view them).
The story is a real life ‘Out of Africa’ romance that I loved writing about, and the title Astronaut plays with the idea that back in the 1950s, flying to Africa must have felt like going to the Moon!
You can buy the new song on iTunes here and listen to it on Spotify here. I will also be performing it live tonight (Friday 24th Feb) at The Crowndale in London for Independent Music Day (tickets are almost sold out, but message me if you’d like to come and I’ll ask them to hold one on the door).
From next week, the tour continues with dates in Frome, Salisbury, Colchester and Surbiton (view dates and times here). Tickets are also now on sale here for the official Somebody’s Story EP launch at The Green Note on 9th April. I can’t wait to see some of you very soon!
Take care till then
